Aluminium in Building Architecture / Infrastructure

	Aluminium’s light weight makes it cheaper and easier to transport and handle safely on site.

Aluminum is the ideal material as it can be not only easily be fabricated but also given any kind of finish. It is also highly corrosion resistant besides being light and strong; therefore it is ideally suited for high raised buildings, public offices and other domestic and commercial buildings particularly in coastal areas.

Also it enables efficient cooling and heating as it ensures very good locking between frame and windows or doors. Further it can also be insulated wherever it is required. It is eco-friendly and fire resistant therefore competes very well with plastics and wood.

Saves forest wealth and maintains ecology when used as replacement for wood. It does not require any periodical maintenance as in the case of wood or steel and thus the maintenance cost will be very low.
