3.0 Association to Serve as a Common Forum The Association will serve as a common forum with a view to establish and nurture cooperation among its constituents namely, individuals interested in aluminium, institutions, manufacturers, users, researchers of aluminium, etc. However, the Association shall not conduct its activities or affairs with a view to or with the result that any agreement, arrangement, understanding combination or practice arises to limit production or supply, manipulate prices, suppress competition or take a partisan attitude towards its constituents or in any other manner restrict trade or engage in monopolization or otherwise act in contravention to the law and to the fair trade practices. 4.0 Restriction on Payments to Members The income and the property of the Association shall be applied towards the promotion of the Association as set forth in this Memorandum of Association, and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profit to member(s) of the Association, and that no member shall be appointed to any office under the Association which is remunerated by salary or fees; provided that nothing herein shall prevent, the payments to a member of honoraria or reimbursement of expenses, reasonable or proper interest on moneys lent to and reasonable and proper rent on premises let to the Association. 5.0 The Registered Office The
Registered Office of the Association shall be in Bangalore, in the
State of Karnataka and shall be located in the Ramanashree Arcade,
No.18, M.G. Road, First Floor, No.118, BANGALORE - 560 001, INDIA,
until otherwise decided. The Secretary is authorised to correspond
on behalf of the Association. |
