- To
promote utilization and growth of aluminium and its various applications
like power generation and distribution, aerospace, mass transport,
automobile, building and architecture, packaging etc.
- To
create a common forum for aluminium industry and its constituents,
in formulation of common policies and strategies to project and further
the interests related to aluminium production and distribution, health,
environment, safety and energy, and also to maintain close laison
with Government departments.
- To
enhance the role of aluminium in the national economy as an eco-friendly
metal of unique properties.
- To
disseminate knowledge on aluminium through its information center
on products, technologies, marketing economics etc.
- To
act as an interface between the aluminium industries, Government,
Institutions of Higher learning, to promote the cause of aluminium.
- To
distribute on no-charge basis all the publications of the Association
to its members and also help members to get publication from overseas
Aluminium Associations.
- To
create awareness amongst the students of technical institutions, universities
by organizing special lectures, workshops etc.
- To
organize media campaigns to project the usefulness of aluminium.
- To
counteract any negative publicity given to aluminium and its products
in the media.
